We are looking for a reliable, professional, and experienced Driver to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive company staff, clients, and goods safely to assigned destinations.
- Ensure the vehicle is clean, well maintained, and in good working condition.
- Carry out daily vehicle inspections, including checking fuel, oil, tyres, brakes, lights, and other basic vehicle functions.
- Report any mechanical problems, damage, or service requirements immediately.
- Follow all traffic rules, road safety regulations, and company transport procedures.
- Plan efficient routes and ensure timely arrivals and deliveries.
- Maintain accurate records of trips, fuel usage, mileage, and vehicle servicing.
- Assist with loading and unloading goods where necessary.
- Ensure all vehicle documents, licences, insurance, and inspection certificates are valid.
- Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and good conduct at all times.
Requirements
- Valid driving licence, Class B or above.
- Minimum of 3 years of proven driving experience.
- Good knowledge of local and regional routes.
- Strong understanding of road safety and traffic regulations.
- Must be punctual, reliable, honest, and trustworthy.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Must be well-groomed and maintain a professional appearance.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends when required.
- Must be physically fit, alert, and able to perform assigned duties.
- Certificate of Good Conduct or no criminal record.
- Ability to carry out basic vehicle checks and report faults promptly.
