Duration of the Industrial Attachment

The attachment lasts three Months: September-30th November 2026.

Eligibility

Students pursuing a degree or diploma in Journal-ism, Media Studies, Communications, Digital Com-munication or Corporate Communication who meet the requirements below are eligible to apply.

Placement

Successful applicants will be placed in recognised media and communication outlets across the country in the following areas of specialisation:

• Print
• Broadcast (Radio/Television)
• Technical/Production
• Digital content creation

Application Requirements

1. Final-year students at a recognised university or college.
2. Recommendation letter from the university/college, issued within the last two months, stating the period for which placement is required.
3. Academic transcripts for the current academic year.
4. Valid Student Identification Card.
5. Valid MCK Student Press Card 2026.
6. Mandatory sample of journalistic work (this may include published online content, school projects, etc.)
