Job Overview
Operation of Point of Sale (POS) devices to complete sales transactions while enforcing retail transaction policies.
Key areas of responsibilities
- Support customers at point of sale to ensure world class shopping experience.
- Finish regular sales transaction in cash, credit and checks.
- Guarantee integrity and accuracy in cash handling.
- Add sales and provide customers with information through selling techniques to promote salesmanship and reach store sales goals.
- Respond to routine customer billing issues.
- Receive and process payments as per standard procedures.
- Ensure that ETR receipts are always issued once a sale is completed.
- Welcome customers and offer quick and efficient customer experience.
- Suggest products and services solutions to customers as needed.
- Specify transaction amount, money received and change due.
- Validate credit cards, identification and signatures.
- Carry out end of day till reconciliation together with Shop Manager.
- Any other duties may be delegated.
