Ponty Pridd Holdings, a leading transport and logistics company, is looking for a detail-driven Accountant to strengthen our Finance team in Nairobi. You'll support the Finance function by preparing accurate financial and management reports, maintaining reconciliations, and assisting with budgeting, analysis and statutory compliance in a transport & logistics business..

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare timely, accurate financial & management reports
- Perform bank, supplier & customer reconciliations
- Support accounts payable & receivable - invoicing, payments, collections
- Assist with budgets, forecasts & variance analysis
- Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making
- Ensure statutory compliance and timely tax filing
- Maintain accurate financial records & documentation
- Support month-end and year-end closing
- Assist with audit preparation and liaise with external auditors
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- CPA(K) or equivalent professional qualification
- Transport & logistics industry experience preferred
- Proficiency in Odoo ERP an added advantage
Skills & Competencies
- Strong financial reporting & analytical skills
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Sound knowledge in Microsoft Excel
- Sound knowledge of statutory compliance
- High accuracy & attention to detail
- Strong organization & time management
- Good communication and ability to meet deadlines
