The Attaché Construction Management role is a full-time, on-site position based in Nairobi County, Kenya.
Responsibilities
The attaché will support the Assistant Construction Manager and site supervisors with daily coordination of construction activities, including tracking progress, documenting site operations, and assisting with scheduling and logistics. Typical tasks include preparing and updating reports, collecting and organizing project data, supporting project planning & programme updates, and helping maintain & organize project documentation & records. The role also involves liaising with consultants and subcontractors under guidance, supporting procurement and materials tracking, and contributing to the implementation of project management systems and procedures.

Qualifications
- Foundational knowledge of construction management, ideally gained through ongoing (Diploma/Degree in Construction Management) or recent studies.
- Ability to read and interpret basic drawings, specifications, and construction documentation.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills, with attention to detail in reporting, record-keeping, and data management.
- Proficiency in common office software (e.g., MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and willingness to learn project management and site reporting tools.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for interacting with colleagues, consultants, and site teams.
PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES
- Demonstrated reliability, integrity, and willingness to work in a fast-paced site environment while following safety and quality procedures.
- Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams and take direction while showing initiative and curiosity.
- Interest in high-rise, luxury, and complex residential, commercial or hospitality projects; prior site exposure is an added advantage.
