Motorspeed Fulfillment is a logistics and delivery solutions provider. As we expand our operations, we are seeking a detail-oriented and trustworthy individual to join our finance team at our Nairobi office.

Role Overview:
We are looking for a highly organized Accounts Payable Personnel to manage our outgoing expenses. You will be responsible for processing invoices, verifying transactions, and ensuring that all vendor and delivery personnel payments are made accurately and on time. This is a critical role that ensures the smooth financial operation of our courier and fulfillment services.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Process accounts and incoming invoices in compliance with financial policies and procedures.
2. Verify delivery personnel payments and process the payments.
3. Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and recording accounts payable data.
4. Reconcile the accounts payable ledger to ensure that all bills and payments are accounted for and properly posted.
5. Verify discrepancies and resolve vendor billing issues.
6. Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting vendors.
7. Generate financial statements and reports detailing accounts payable status.
8. Manage relationships with vendors and suppliers regarding payment schedules.
9. Ensure compliance with Kenyan tax regulations, including VAT and withholding tax requirements.

Requirements & Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
   CPA (K) qualification or progress towards certification is an added advantage.
2. Proven working experience as an Accounts Payable or in a similar finance role.
3. Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounts payable principles.
4. Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and familiarity with accounting software.
5. Knowledge of Kenyan tax laws and statutory deductions.
6. High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
