Internship Program - Internal Audit, Tax, Accounting and Cooperate Finance at Lattice Africa

Lattice Africa are hiring in Nairobi for a 6 Months Internship Program in Internal Audit, Tax, Accounting and Cooperate Finance.

Lattice is seeking talented, motivated, and driven graduates to join our Internship Program and build a strong pipeline of future professionals across our Internal Audit, Tax, Accounting, and Corporate Finance functions. The program also provides opportunities to support the Finance team, offering hands-on exposure to core accounting, advisory, financial management, and compliance activities under the mentorship and guidance of experienced professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Rotate across assigned engagements to build a broad understanding of Lattice's advisory, audit, tax, and finance functions.
• Participate in structured training, mentorship, and professional development activities throughout the program.
• Internal Audit: Support internal audit reviews, testing of internal controls, and the preparation of audit working papers.
• Tax: Support tax computations, statutory filings, and research on tax matters across client engagements.
• Accounting: Support day-to-day bookkeeping, invoice processing, and financial reporting, including exposure to the Finance team's Projects Accountant function.
• Corporate Finance: Support financial modelling, business valuations, and due diligence engagements under supervision.
• Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and attention to detail across all assigned tasks.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or another relevant field, depending on the stream applied for.
• Must have graduated within the last 2 years, or completed coursework and be awaiting graduation in 2026.
• Completed or currently pursuing a professional certification such as CPA(K), ACCA, ACA, or equivalent.
• Tax Trainee applicants should have a particular interest in tax specialization.
• Accounting Trainee applicants should have an interest in accounting specialization, including accounts payable, invoicing, and financial reporting.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• High level of integrity, curiosity, willingness to learn and attention to details.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team, while managing multiple priorities.
