Julie Chege

I am a Social Work and Community Development professional with experience in child protection, community engagement, case management, and supporting vulnerable children and families. I have worked with Macheo Children’s Organization in the Education and Skills Department, where I support school feeding and Conditional Cash Transfer (CCT) interventions aimed at addressing food insecurity and improving children’s well being and access to education.
My responsibilities include conducting child intakes and follow ups, monitoring the impact of interventions, maintaining accurate case records, documenting impact stories, and collaborating with teachers, caregivers, social workers, and other stakeholders to address children’s needs. I have also gained experience identifying vulnerabilities, following up on children’s progress, and linking beneficiaries to appropriate support services.
