PSC Internship Programme Interviews: Shortlisted Candidates, Dates, Schedule and What to Carry

The Public Service Commission has announced that Interviews for the 3,000 internship positions in the civil service will start on Tuesday, 3rd September and end on the 11th of September across the country.
In a Statement, The Public Service Commission (PSC) said it’s pleased to inform all those who applied for the Public Service Internship Programme (PSIP) internship opportunities advertised on 30th July 2019 that interviews for the shortlisted candidates have been scheduled to take place at various centres across the country from 3rd to 11th September 2019.
The names of shortlisted candidates and the date and venue of the interviews is available on the Public Service Commission website www.publicservice.go.ke, also attached below.
All shortlisted candidates are required to have original and copies of the following documents during the interview:
- National Identity card;
- Academic and Professional Certificates; and
- Other relevant documents.

The exercise will be launched by the PSC chairperson Stephen Kirogo and CEO Simon Rotich at the Rift Valley Institute of Science and Technology, Nakuru, starting 9am Tuesday.
The interns will be posted to various stations by the end of this month after Parliament revised the PSC budget for the 2019/20 financial year to include a Sh1 billion allocation to facilitate the hiring of the interns.
