Nyeri Water and Sanitation Company (NYEWASCO) is a Limited Liability Company fully owned by the County Government of Nyeri and is one of the Water Service Providers in Nyeri County responsible for efficient and economical provision of water and sanitation services in Nyeri Central Sub County and its environs.

The Company seeks to fill the vacant positions for Interns.

Managing Director Directorate

1. Legal Services
   QUALIFICATIONS: A Degree in Law from a recognized University;
   Recommendation Letter from Kenya School of Law confirming completion of the Advocates Training Program
2. Audit, Risk & Compliance
   QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in  Commerce, Economics, Accounting or Finance, Business Administration, or other relevant field;
   CPA part 2 / Intermediate Level
3. Supply Chain – Stores
   QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Procurement and Supplies Management, or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.

Finance & Corporate Services Directorate

1. Finance & Accounts
   QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Economics, Accounting or Finance, Business Administration, or other relevant field and;
   CPA part 2 / Intermediate Level
2. Human Resource & Administration
   QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or related field from a recognized institution and;
   Proficiency in ICT skills
3. Corporate Planning & Strategy
   QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in Strategic Management, Finance, Economics or any other Business related course.

Commercial Services Directorate

1. Debt Collection
   QUALIFICATIONS: Craft Certificate in Plumbing & Water Services or Diploma in plumbing
2. New Connections
   QUALIFICATIONS: Craft Certificate in Plumbing & Water Services or Diploma in plumbing
3. Meter Reading
   QUALIFICATIONS: Craft Certificate in Plumbing & Water Services or Diploma in plumbing or Advanced Meter Readers Course
4. Corporate Communications & Public Relations
   QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Public Relations, Media Related fields

Technical Services Directorate

1. NRW
   QUALIFICATIONS: Diploma (3 years) in water engineering
2. Distribution
   QUALIFICATIONS: Craft Certificate in Plumbing & Water Services or Diploma in Plumbing
3. Laboratory & Quality Assurance
   QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s Degree Chemistry, Biology and/or related fields
4. Geospatial Information System (GIS)
   QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor of Science in GIS or Geospatial engineering
