Switch Media Ltd is a young, energetic, & dynamic media organization that serves Africa’s youth. Switch Media Ltd is a digital media and production company, having transitioned from the FTA TV model in 2022. Switch TV airs on all our social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and on the website. Our digital services include digital advertising and also website development.

Switch Media is owned by the Kenya Red Cross Society (KRCS), based in Nairobi Kenya.

Switch Media Ltd is seeking a passionate and enthusiastic individual for the following position in the Digital & IT Department:

Multimedia Content Intern 

Qualifications:

• Ability to research, pitch, and develop original story ideas across news, features, human interest, lifestyle, business, and education
• Ability to produce high-quality content in text, video, and visual formats tailored for digital consumption
• Ability to conduct interviews, gather multimedia assets, and ensure factual accuracy and fairness in reporting

Requirements:

• Pursuing degree in Journalism, Digital Media, Communications, or related field
• Proven ability to produce and edit stories across multimedia formats (text, video, graphic, interactive)
• Basic filming skills including camera operation and lighting
• Creativity, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines
