Attachment/Internship - Finance & Accounts Department

Hardi SACCO is looking for the attachees.

We are seeking to host a student from Mount Kenya University for an internship/industrial attachment opportunity within our Finance & Accounts department.

Role Summary

• Position: Finance/Accounting Intern (Industrial Attachee)
• Location: Mang’u Road,Thika
• Duration: [e.g., 3 months /6 months starting immediately
• Working Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

Preferred Background & Skills

• Pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Basic knowledge of bookkeeping principles, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Proficiency with MS Excel/Google Sheets; exposure to accounting software is an added advantage.
• Strong attention to detail, integrity, and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work in a team and communicate clearly with colleagues and members.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with daily postings, reconciliations, and filing of financial documents.
• Support preparation of management reports and schedules.
• Participate in member account updates and audit support tasks.
• Any other duties assigned by the Supervisor.

We will provide a formal acceptance letter, supervision, and completion evaluation as per your attachment guidelines.
