Hardi SACCO is looking for the attachees.
We are seeking to host a student from Mount Kenya University for an internship/industrial attachment opportunity within our Finance & Accounts department.
Role Summary
- Position: Finance/Accounting Intern (Industrial Attachee)
- Location: Mang’u Road,Thika
- Duration: [e.g., 3 months /6 months starting immediately
- Working Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
Preferred Background & Skills
- Pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Basic knowledge of bookkeeping principles, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency with MS Excel/Google Sheets; exposure to accounting software is an added advantage.
- Strong attention to detail, integrity, and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work in a team and communicate clearly with colleagues and members.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with daily postings, reconciliations, and filing of financial documents.
- Support preparation of management reports and schedules.
- Participate in member account updates and audit support tasks.
- Any other duties assigned by the Supervisor.
