Support of CyTravel Africa’s sales and marketing intiatives, generating itineraries, content creation for website and social media to increase digital presence, leads generation, and customer service support. The position will be critical to drive brand visibility online for the larger US and European markets.
Responsibilities
- The attachee will support daily travel operations, assist with client inquiries, help develop travel packages, manage basic administrative tasks, and contribute to marketing and booking activities
Requirements
- Tourism Management Diploma/ Degree or related fields.
- Final year or third year student looking for an attachment opportunity
- Good communication skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt to the tourism market changes
- Digital marketing skills and Innovation skills
- Basic computer proficiency
Learning Opportunities
- Hands-On Experience in Travel Operations
Exposure to day-to-day travel agency workflows such as itinerary planning, client communication, booking procedures, and handling supplier inquiries. - Digital Booking Systems & Travel Technology
Practical training in using reservation platforms, CRM systems, online booking tools, and digital communication channels that support modern travel operations. - Customer Service & Client Relationship Management
Learning how to professionally manage client needs, respond to inquiries, handle complaints, and deliver exceptional customer experience. - Sales, Marketing & Content Development
Participation actively in crafting social media posts, promotional materials, package descriptions, and assisting with sales strategies to attract online clientelle from US and Europe. - Destination Knowledge & Product Development
Gaining in-depth understanding of Kenyan and regional destinations, travel products, pricing, supplier partnerships, and how to assemble competitive packages for clients in the US and European markets. - Administrative & Financial Support Skills
Exposure to basic office administration, documentation, payment tracking, filing, quoting, and assisting in invoicing or reconciliations where applicable.
Open to recent graduates and final year students (not in class) to undertake a 3 months attachment program.
Must be available FULL TIME for the three months program.
