Job Overview

Africa Safari Trips is seeking a HR Intern to join its team in Nairobi, Kenya. This internship offers hands-on experience in human resources while supporting HR operations across different tour destinations.

The ideal candidate is eager to learn, detail-oriented, and passionate about people. You will support recruitment activities, staff engagement initiatives, and HR administration, contributing to a positive and professional workplace culture within a dynamic international environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • HR Administration & Records: Maintain employee information, organize HR documents, and ensure data accuracy.
  • Coordination & Scheduling: Arrange interviews, meetings, and training sessions.
  • Payroll Support: Assist with timesheets and payroll processing to ensure accurate compensation.
  • Employee Support & Engagement: Respond to HR-related queries, support engagement initiatives, and assist with performance reviews.
  • Training & Development: Support training and development activities as required.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • At least 6 months to 1 year internship experience
  • Degree or Diploma in Human Resource Management
  • Tech-savvy with high proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • High level of confidentiality and professionalism
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations is an added advantage
