Organizational Profile

Christian Health Association of Kenya (CHAK) is a technical support organization for member church health facilities, universities and Medical Training Colleges (MTCs). It was registered as an Association in 1946 with a core mandate of advancing the critical role of the Church in healthcare, health education and healing.

CHAK is seeking a motivated Accounts Intern to support the Accounts team during external audit. The intern will assist in retrieving financial records and ensuring timely availability of documents required for audit purposes.

Job Responsibilities

• Support audit activities by gathering, organizing, and submitting audit documents
• Printing and scanning audit Documents on Requests
• Assist in verification of vouchers, invoices, and supporting documents
• Help prepare audit schedules, confirmations, and working papers
• Coordinate with Finance Team to obtain audit-related information
• Do follow-ups on audit related matters to ensure timely completion
• Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial records
• Ensure confidentiality and accuracy of financial data

Job Requirements

• CPA 2 or Business-related field
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and audit processes
• Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office
