Kenya Ports Authority (KPA) is a state corporation responsible for managing and operating Kenyaโs Seaports, Inland waterways and Ferry Services. KPA operates the Port of Mombasa, Lamu, Kisumu, Shimoni and Inland Container Depots in Nairobi and Naivasha. Other scheduled small ports that KPA is responsible for include Malindi, Kilifi, Mtwapa, Kiunga, Funzi and Vanga and other feeder ports in Nyanza.
Kenya Ports Authority is pleased to announceย 194 internship/apprenticeshipย vacancies across various departments for a period of one year, effective from April 2026. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
To qualify, an applicant must;-
- Must be a Kenyan citizen, not more than 27 years old.
- Must have graduate with a first Degree (Undergraduate), Diploma or Certificate from a recognized institution between January 2023 and December 2025.
- Have not undertaken any internship program or been exposed to any work experience related to their area of study since graduation.
- Not having retired or exited from formal employment.
