Vacancy Description
Ministry of Co-operatives & MSMEs is hiring for six CO-OPERATIVE AUDITOR II positions in Kenya. You will support senior auditors by verifying financial statements, recording financial data, and managing auditor registration applications. They are seeking individuals with degrees and who are meticulous and eager to develop their auditing skills within the public sector, submit your application to join the State Department for Cooperatives.
CO-OPERATIVE AUDITOR II โ SIX (6) POSTS – V/NO. 117/2026
Basic Salary Scale: Ksh 36,200 p.m – Ksh 47,900 p.m. (CSG 11)
House Allowance: Ksh 5,800 p.m. – Ksh 10,000 p.m.
Commuter Allowance: Ksh 4,000 p.m.
Leave allowance: As provided in the Civil Service
Annual Leave: 30 working days per financial year
Medical Cover: As provided by the government
Terms of Service: Permanent and Pensionable
Qualification Requirements
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have a Bachelors degree in any of the following disciplines: Cooperative Audit, Accounting, Finance, Commerce (Accounting/Finance Option), Business Administration (Accounting/Finance Option), or any relevant and equivalent qualification from a university recognized in Kenya;
Duties and Responsibilities
This is the entry and training grade for this cadre. An officer at this level will work under the guidance of a senior officer. Duties and responsibilities will include: –
(i) checking arithmetic accuracy of societies financial statements, figures and supporting schedules:
(ii) compiling data on periodic financial returns, estimates of income and expenditure, assets and liabilities:
(iii) receiving and recording applications for registration of auditors:
(iv) collecting and collating data on societies financial statement, income expenditure, assets and liabilities;
(v) updating of audited accounts movement registers to ensure timely processing of audited accounts; and
(vi) dispatching of audited accounts
