Accountant
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records including ledgers and journals
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements including tax and VAT filings
- Assist in internal and external audits by providing required documentation
Qualifications
Minimum Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or Economics.
- CPA(K) Finalist or Certified Public Accountant qualification required.
- Membership in a relevant professional body is an added advantage.
Experience Required
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in accounting, finance, auditing or a related field.
- Experience using accounting software and ERP systems is required.
- Experience in hospitality, retail or service industry is an added advantage.
