Warehouse Assistant at Victory Farms

Victory Farms (VF), sub-Saharan Africa’s fastest-growing, fully vertically integrated aquaculture company focused primarily on farming and distributing fresh tilapia in East Africa, are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Warehouse Assistant to support the efficient day-to-day operations of our warehouse in Kisumu. Reporting directly to the Warehouse Associate, this role is responsible for the receiving, sorting, storage, handling, and dispatch of fish and feeds while ensuring accuracy, cleanliness, and compliance with company procedures. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining efficient warehouse operations, safeguarding inventory integrity, and supporting the timely movement of products across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, sort, and store fish stock in accordance with Victory Farms warehouse procedures.
• Assist in receiving and dispatching fish feeds, ensuring accuracy and timely handling.
• Verify stock against delivery notes and promptly report any discrepancies.
• Ensure proper stacking and storage practices to maintain product quality and safety.
• Support crate handling, returns processing, and maintain smooth stock flow.
• Participate in routine stock counts and cycle counts as directed by the warehouse team.
• Maintain cleanliness in the warehouse through sweeping, dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and general hygiene practices.
• Perform heavy cleaning tasks and support special projects when required.
• Adhere to Victory Farms’ health, safety, hygiene, and security standards at all times.
• Undertake any other duties assigned by the Warehouse Associate or Warehouse Management Team.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum KCSE (Form 4) completion, with at least a D- (minus) grade or above.
• Prior experience in warehouse, logistics, or inventory operations is an added advantage.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively within a team environment.
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift and move stock safely.
• Good communication skills and a positive work attitude
