Prosper HR Services’ client in the microfinance industry seeks to recruit a professional, customer-focused, and detail-oriented Customer Service Officer to support branch operations by delivering exceptional customer service, handling loan documentation, resolving customer concerns, and ensuring accurate administrative and operational record management.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Verify loan application forms and ensure all required documentation is complete before system registration.
- Validate customer information for accuracy and completeness before processing.
- Register approved loan applications promptly while adhering to company procedures.
- Maintain proper filing and secure custody of all loan documents.
- Manage petty cash, reconciliations, and timely reporting.
- Maintain office consumables and operational registers including loan, attendance, stationery, and service records.
- Receive, document, and follow up customer complaints to ensure timely resolution.
- Support activation and re-engagement of dormant clients through customer follow-up initiatives.
- Prepare periodic customer service and complaints reports for management.
- Deliver professional, courteous, and timely customer service while maintaining excellent client relationships.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Certificate or Diploma in Customer Service, Customer Relations, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of experience in customer service or administrative role, preferably within a microfinance or financial services environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
- Good organizational, record management, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and maintain confidentiality.
