Céline and Lolo, a new boutique hotel & bistro in the heart of Nairobi, are looking to hire a Front Office Host.
As a Front Office Host, you will become an important member of the Front Office team, helping deliver outstanding service and ensuring every guest enjoys a comfortable and memorable stay at Céline & Lolo.
You will welcome our guests, handle the check-in and check-out process, and create a warm, welcoming atmosphere from the moment they arrive. By providing attentive and personalized service, you’ll help make each guest’s experience unique.
You will be handling, processing, and confirming reservations for the hotel: rooms and the Bistro. You will be in contact with guests and companies via phone, WhatsApp and email and make sure everything is entered accurately in the system.
Alongside your daily Front Office duties, you will also assist with administrative responsibilities and collaborate with other hotel departments.
Serve as the first point of contact for guests during emergencies, ensuring their safety, following established emergency procedures, and communicating effectively with management and emergency services when necessary.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome our guests and efficiently manage arrivals and departures
- Serve as the main point of contact for guests during their stay
- Provide information about the hotel’s amenities and recommend attractions and activities
- Support the Front Office team with administrative and organizational tasks
- Perform both Front Office and Back Office responsibilities
- Assist with guest requests and ensure excellent guest service
- Help maintain a professional, inviting, and well-organized hotel environment
- Strengthening your hospitality and guest service skills in a boutique hotel environment
- Serve as the first point of contact for guests during emergencies

- You have affinity with high-end hospitality and luxury service and committed to delivering exceptional guest service
- You have a friendly, positive attitude and enjoy making people feel welcome
- Experience with reservation systems
- You communicate confidently and professionally with both guests and colleagues
- You take initiative, work independently, and enjoy being proactive
- You are adaptable and available to work flexible schedules, including evenings, nights, weekends, and rotating shifts
