Quality Control Internship - Production at Royal Mabati Factory

Royal Mabati Factory, Kenya's leading roofing manufacturer, are hiring a QC Intern Production

The ideal candidate will support the implementation of conformity assessment systems for the inspection and certification of locally manufactured and imported materials, ensuring adherence to approved specifications and high-quality standards

Responsibilities

1. Constant internal tests against standards.
2. Material classification accuracy at 100% by enforcing segregation of prime sheets from scraps before handing over to dispatch team.
3. Periodic testing of Royal Mabati products by third party (KEBS).
4. Site inspection of customer complaints and coming up with CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Action).
5. Maintaining proper record of raw material test and assessment report at the head office and branches.
6. Analyze and investigate material complaints or reported quality issues to ensure closure in accordance with company guidelines and external regulatory requirements.
7. Carefully maintain complaint and nonconformance processing through records and tracking systems, including root cause and corrective actions.

Qualifications & Experience

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or diploma in Quality Management, Chemistry, Engineering, or a related field.

• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to follow and enforce quality standards.
• Strong communication skills to advise production teams and management.
• Familiarity with testing procedures and quality documentation is an advantage.
• Ability to maintain records systematically and work with minimal supervision.
