Mombasa County Government is recruiting ICT Interns for a Six (6) Months Internship Contract.
Pursuant to the provisions of Article 235 of Constitution of Kenya (2010), Mombasa County Public Service Board wishes to consider applications from qualified and results oriented officers to the following internship positions in the department of Digital Transformation:
ICT-INTERN (DEGREE HOLDERS) – SIX (6) POSTS
Terms of Service: Six (6) Months Contract
Duties and Responsibilities
- Digitisation programmes monitoring
- Assisting in the implementation of the computer systems;
- providing user support and training of users;
- Repairs and maintenance of ICT equipment and associated peripherals;
- Monitoring the performance of ICT equipment and;
- Reporting any faults for further action.
Requirements for Appointment
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Communication Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution
ICT-INTERN (DIPLOMA HOLDERS) - TWO (2) POSTS
Terms of Service: Six (6) Months Contract
Duties and Responsibilities
- Writing and testing simple computer programs according to instructions and specifications;
- Assisting in the implementation of the computer systems;
- providing user support and training of users;
- Repairs and maintenance of ICT equipment and associated peripherals;
- Monitoring the performance of ICT equipment and;
- Reporting any faults for further action.
Requirements for Appointment
- Diploma in IT from a recognized institution or its equivalent qualification
- Networking professional Certificate, Application/Software Development Certificate, Cybersecurity Professional Certificate and ICT projects management Certificate.
