Cosmetology Instructor at Mabati Technical Training Institute

Safal MRM Foundation is seeking to recruit a professional and experienced Cosmetology Instructor for the Mabati Technical Training Institute. He/She must possess excellent communication and organisational skills. The position reports to the Administrator – Mabati Technical Training Institute.

Key Performance Areas

1. Teaching trade theory and trade practicals;
2. Preparing Lesson Plans and Schemes of Work;
3. Record of work & task analysis;
4. Carrying out trainee assessment;
5. Ensuring proper care and maintenance of tools and equipment;
6. Operating machines and using the tools;
7. Conducting co-curricular activities;
8. Maintaining students’ discipline;
9. Guiding and counselling students.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience Requirements

1. Minimum academic qualification: Diploma Certificate in Cosmetology.
2. Professional registration: Valid TVETA Trainer's License
3. Experience required: 2 years of teaching experience
4. Industry: Education.

Key competence and skills:

1. Ability to teach trade theory and trade practical. Preparing Lesson Plans, Schemes of Work, records of work & task analysis.
2. Skill in managing students.
3. Practical Ability in operating machines and using tools.
