Job Description:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining tests, as well as reporting bugs and tracking resolutions across both frontend and backend systems. This role requires a detail-oriented mindset and a passion for delivering high-quality, reliable software in collaboration with developers and product teams.

Responsibilities:

Design, write, and maintain test cases for frontend Ul and backend APls.
Perform manual testing and help expand automated test coverage.
Identify, document, and track bugs using issue tracking tools (e.g. Jira, GitHub Issues),
Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps to ensure feature completeness and stability.
Validate bug fixes and feature updates in staging and production environments.
Assist in integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines.

Skills & Abilities:

1-3 years of experience in software QA or testing roles.
Strong understanding of software development lifecycles and testing methodologies.
Experience testing REST APis using tools like Postman, Insomnia, or automated frameworks.
Familiarity with test automation tools (e.g., Pytest, Selenium, Playwright).
Comfortable testing frontend applications (React) for functionality and responsiveness
Experience with issue tracking and test documentation tools.
Basic understanding of version control (Git)
Experience with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions, GitLab Cl, or Jenkins
Exposure to Dockerized environments and container testing.
Understanding of performance testing or load testing tools (e.g., ]Meter, Locust).
