Choice Bank are seeking a motivated and tech-savvy Product Assistant – BaaS to support our Product Team in delivering innovative digital banking and embedded finance solutions. This is a junior-level opportunity ideal for a early-career professional with exposure to technology, fintech, or digital products.
The successful candidate will assist with customer support, partner onboarding, product coordination, and basic API/integration support while gaining hands-on experience within the Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS) ecosystem.
This role is best suited for someone who is curious, proactive, eager to learn, and comfortable working with both technical and non-technical teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Product Team in the day-to-day management of BaaS and digital banking products.
- Assist clients and partners with basic technical, API, and integration-related queries.
- Support preparation of API documentation, PRDs, Training materials, presentations and data reports.
- Coordinate partner technical onboarding and provide support during implementation and activation stages.
- Assist the BAAS team with Data Anaylsis and client performance.
- Coordinate partner onboarding and provide support during implementation and activation stages.
- Understand and communicate the full range of the bank’s digital and fintech products.
- Gather customer feedback, document product issues, and escalate concerns where necessary.
- Assist in product testing, troubleshooting, and quality assurance activities.
- Work closely with internal teams including Technology, Operations, Compliance, and Customer Experience.
- Support preparation of product documentation, training materials, presentations, and reports.
- Monitor partner requests and follow up to ensure timely resolution.
- Use basic technical and coding terminology when communicating with developers and technical teams.
- Conduct market and competitor research within fintech and digital banking.
- Support product improvement initiatives and ongoing customer experience enhancement.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, Finance, or o related field.
- Exposure to coding, APIs, fintech, or digital products through school, bootcamps.
- Basic understanding of APIs, integrations, or digital banking platforms is an added advantage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams.
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Proactive attitude with willingness to learn and grow.
- Familiarity with fintech trends and digital products is desirable.
- Basic knowledge of SQL, Postman, or API tools is an added advantage.
