Position: Maternity Cover teacher-Primary (Year 2.)

Harton Grange Academy, Eldoret is seeking a passionate and committed Year 2 Maternity Cover Teacher for a temporary 3-month (90 days). Join our dynamic and supportive school community, where you’ll inspire young minds and foster a love of learning in a nurturing environment.

Qualifications and Requirements:

1. Educational and Experience
   • B.Ed. degree (Primary Option), Early Childhood Education, or a related field from an accredited university or college.
   • Must have at least 1 year of Experience teaching an international curriculum.
2. Commitment to Learning and Development
   • Demonstrated enthusiasm for professional growth and a willingness to learn.
   • Passion for working with young children (ages 5-11)
   • Adaptability and resilience in dynamic classroom environments.
3. Interpersonal and Communication Skills
   • Strong verbal and written communication skills
   • Ability to build positive relationships with young learners and support their social-emotional development.
4. Cultural Competency
   • Awareness of or willingness to learn culturally responsive teaching practices to support diverse student populations in an international school environment.
   • Ability to adapt to multicultural classroom settings and community.
