Terms of Service: Permanent and Pensionable

Salary and Allowances

• Basic Salary Scale: Ksh 27,900 – 36,680
• House Allowance: Ksh 3,850 – 4,500
• Commuter Allowance: Ksh 4,000
• Annual Leave: 30 working days
• Medical Cover: As provided by the County Government of Kisumu

General Duties and Responsibilities

1. Deliver specialized training in accordance with approved curricula.
2. Develop teaching and learning materials including schemes of work and lesson plans.
3. Design, administer, and evaluate examinations and assignments.
4. Undertake research and innovation activities under senior mentorship.
5. Supervise trainees during projects, industrial attachments, and practical work.

Requirements for Appointment (All Specializations)

Applicants must:

1. Be a Kenyan citizen.
2. Have KCSE mean grade D (Plain) or equivalent.
3. Hold a relevant Diploma from a recognized institution.
4. Be registered with the Technical and Vocational Education and Training Authority (TVET).
5. Have training in Competency-Based Education and Training (CBET) (added advantage).
6. Be proficient in computer applications.
7. Meet the requirements of Chapter Six (6) of the Constitution of Kenya (2010).
