Vacancy Announcement: Program Intern
Number of Positions: 1
Location: Nairobi, Kenya

Suvira Africa seeks an organized and proactive Program Intern to support the coordination and implementation of ongoing research and policy programs. This role is ideal for individuals interested in program management, development work, and policy implementation.

Key Responsibilities

The selected intern will support program coordination activities, including:

  • Assisting in the development of project work plans and timelines
  • Supporting coordination of field logistics in Nairobi and Kisumu
  • Liaising with enumerators, volunteers, and partners
  • Tracking milestones, deliverables, and implementation progress
  • Supporting Monitoring and Evaluation tracking
  • Assisting in the planning and coordination of policy roundtables and stakeholder engagements
  • Supporting preparation of concept notes and participant coordination

Minimum Qualifications

Applicants must meet the following requirements

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree or final-year student in Project Management, Development Studies, Public Administration, Business Administration, or related field
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
  • Ability to work in faster paced environmenInitiative and strong accountability
