North Rift Valley Water Works Development Agency is hiring an office assistant in Eldoret.

North Rift Valley Water Works Development Agency (NRVWWDA) was established by the Ministry of Water, Sanitation and Irrigation vide Gazette Notice No. 4 of 7th February, 2020 pursuant to the Water Act 2016. The Agency was established to undertake the development, maintenance and management of the National Public Water Works within its area of jurisdiction which includes; Uasin Gishu, West Pokot, Elgeyo Marakwet and Turkana Counties. The Agency invites qualified and experienced persons to fill the following positions to be deployed at the North Rift Valley Water Works Development Agency Headquarters in Eldoret.

OFFICE ASSISTANT NRV 10 (1 POST)

Terms: Permanent & Pensionable

The successful candidate will be reporting to Senior Office Assistant and responsible for maintaining cleanliness and provision of offices services. The appointment will be on permanent terms, subject to satisfactory performance.

Key Responsibilities

The key responsibilities are;

• Ensuring safe custody of office documents;
• Ensuring the safety of office equipment;
• Carrying out general office cleanliness;
• Delivering of office mails;
• Preparing and serving office beverages;
• Dispatching of office mails;
• Requisitioning office general supplies;
• Operating basic office equipment;
• Photocopying of documents;
• Binding of documents.

Qualifications and Work experience

The successful candidate must have/be: -

• Have KCSE D+ or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
• Proficiency in computer applications;
• Fulfill the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya 2010.
