Graphic Design Attachee
Location: Attachee ยท Hybrid โ Nairobi, Kenya
Turn humour into visuals. You will be the creative force behind the designs that end up on tshirts, hoodies, wall art, and everything in between โ art that people will actually want to wear and hang in their homes.
What you will do
- Conceptualise and create original graphic designs for apparel, accessories, and wall art that capture the OwnTheJoke brand voice
- Develop design briefs from ideas, jokes, and cultural observations into print-ready artwork
- Prepare artwork files for print production including correct colour profiles, bleed settings, and file formats
- Collaborate with the content and sales teams to ensure designs support ongoing campaigns and product drops
- Maintain and evolve the OwnTheJoke visual identity across all branded materials
- Source and work with stock elements, illustrations, and typography to build cohesive design systems
- Iterate on designs based on team feedback and real-world performance data
- Build and maintain an organised design asset library for consistent reuse
- Research design trends in the streetwear, humour merch, and apparel print industries
- Assist in designing digital assets including social media graphics, email templates, and website banners
What we are looking for
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Art, or a related creative field
- Strong portfolio demonstrating original illustration, typography, and visual concept work
- Proficiency in Canva, Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop (or equivalent professional design tools)
- Understanding of print production requirements including colour modes, resolution, and bleed
- Ability to translate abstract concepts and humour into compelling visual work
- Access to a laptop capable of running professional design software
