Frolics of Hope Africa (FOHA) are seeking passionate, innovative, and highly motivated young professionals to join our six (6) month Internship Programme running from 31st August 2026 to 31st March 2027.
FOHA is a women-led, survivor-centred non-profit organization committed to preventing and responding to human trafficking, gender-based violence (GBV), femicide, child abuse, and exploitation while advancing mental health, economic empowerment, and community resilience.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience while contributing to impactful programmes that transform the lives of women, children, and vulnerable communities.
Available Internship Opportunities
1. Community Development Intern (1 Position)
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Community Development, Social Work, Development Studies, Sociology, or a related field.
- Demonstrated passion for community engagement, child protection, gender equality, and social justice.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and report-writing skills.
- Willingness to travel and work within communities across Nakuru County.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
2. Communications & Media Intern (1 Position)
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Digital Media, Marketing, or a related discipline.
- Strong writing, editing, storytelling, photography, videography, and social media management skills.
- Knowledge of graphic design applications such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite will be an added advantage.
- Creative mindset with the ability to produce engaging multimedia content.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
3. Statistics, Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) Intern (1 Position)
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Monitoring & Evaluation, Data Science, Economics, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and statistical software such as SPSS, STATA, R, or similar analytical packages.
- Strong quantitative, analytical, and data management skills.
- Interest in programme monitoring, research, data visualization, and impact measurement.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
