JKUAT Enterprises’ client, a leading institution within the financial services invites applications for the Young Professionals Program (YPP) – a premier twenty-four (24) month rotational program designed to develop high-potential graduates into future and leaders within the Institution. The program provides hands-on exposure across key functions, structured learning, mentorship, and the opportunity to contribute to the financial sector and economic development.
PROGRAM OVERVIEW
The Young Professionals Program (YPP) is a competitive and intensive development program that offers recent high-achieving graduates an opportunity to rotate across core departments. Over twenty-four (24) months, Young Professionals will gain practical experience, deepen technical skills, and understand how the institution delivers its mandate through various functions. The program includes structured learning, on the job training, mentorship, performance evaluations, and a capstone project aligned to the Institutionsโs strategic priorities.
What You Will Experience
- Strategic Rotations:ย Structured movement through key departments to build holistic policy and operational expertise.
- Executive Mentorship:ย Guidance from senior leaders within the Institution’s functional areas.
- Specialized Training:ย Access to technical courses in various fields like Econometrics, Data Science, Financial Modeling, data and AI etc.
- Capstone Project: Execution of a significant, cross-functional research project addressing a current strategic challenge for the Institution, culminating in a presentation to the Executive Committee.
ACADEMIC & PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
- A Bachelorโs degree with Second Class Honours (Upper Division)ย from a reputable university in any of the following fields: Economics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Public Policy, Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Software Engineering, or any related discipline.
- Strong academic record: Minimum B+ at O level/A level or its equivalent with B (Plain) and above in Mathematics and English.
- A Masterโs degree in a relevant field is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning is an added advantage.
