St. Josephs Technical institute for the deaf Nyang’oma is an integrated Public TVET accredited institution in Bondo Sub-County along Bondo – Kopolo – Wagusu Road, approximately 12 Kilometers from Bondo Town. The college is seeking to recruit competent and qualified persons to fill the following positions.

SJTTID/BOG/2026/07-GROUNDSMAN (ONE POST) SJTTID 2

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain lawns, flower beds, and overall compound cleanliness.
• Ensure proper disposal of refuse and waste in designated areas.
• Keep institutional structures and fences clean and well-maintained.
• Clean and unclog open drainage systems to ensure proper functionality and hygiene.
• Demonstrate basic tool handling skills.
• Maintain a high level of physical fitness and reliability.
• Provide support in manual tasks, including offloading supplies and materials.
• Performing any other duty as maybe assigned by your supervisor.

REQUIREMENTS

• Must have a minimum of a KCPE certificate.
• Experience in compound maintenance and gardening.
• Must have worked in a learning institution.
• Must have a valid Certificate of good conduct.
• Must have a recommendation letter from area chief.
