Risk Analyst at The Monarch Insurance

The Monarch Insurance are hiring a RISK ANALYST - LIFE INSURANCE BUSINESS

The role holder will be responsible for accurately processing underwriting documentation, verifying client information, and assessing proposed risks in line with established standards within the Life Insurance business.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assess proposed risks in line with established underwriting standards to determine the company's exposure.
• Prepare and issue policy documents, cover notes, quotations, and other related documentation..
• Process policy endorsements, renewals, cancellations, and premium debits/credits.
• Maintain detailed, accurate, and up-to-date records of all policies and underwriting decisions.
• Conduct policy reconciliation to ensure accuracy and completeness of records.
• Maintain detailed, accurate, and up to date records of all policies and underwriting decisions.
• Respond promptly and professionally to client enquiries via walk ins, telephone, and email.
• Liaise with intermediaries and direct clients to provide accurate policy information, resolve issues, and support decision making.
• Record customer complaints with the departmental complaints champion and assist with timely resolution.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Insurance, Finance, Economics or other business-related discipline Progress towards.
• Diploma in Insurance (ACII or AlIK) Experience.
• A minimum of 1 to 2 years' experience in life underwriting within the insurance sector.

• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively.
