HR Box Africa client is looking for an exceptional Product Trainee to join their product team in Nairobi and build a strong foundation in product management. This role is ideal for a sharp, curious graduate who wants to learn how real products get built - from research and specs through launch and iteration - under the mentorship of experienced product leads.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the product team in gathering and organizing user feedback, market research, and competitor insights.
- Help draft user stories and acceptance criteria under guidance, learning to write with precision.
- Track feature status and maintain product documentation and backlogs.
- Sit in on user interviews and stakeholder meetings, taking structured notes and surfacing key insights.
- Assist in analyzing basic product data to support decision-making.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, demonstrated through coursework, internships, or personal projects.
- Comfortable working with spreadsheets and basic data analysis; familiarity with SQL or analytics tools is a plus.
- Excellent written communication able to summarize research or a discussion into clear, actionable points.
