TALENT FRONTIERS SOLUTIONS LIMITED client a licensed insurance agency under the Insurance Regulatory Authority of Kenya is looking for a motivated, high-energy sales intern to support our business development effort.
SALES INTERN – INSURANCE SALES & CLIENT ACQUISITION – NAIROBI
This is a hands-on, client-facing role. You will spend the majority of your time prospecting, meeting clients, and supporting the team in converting leads into confirmed policies. The role is ideal for someone who is energetic, resilient, and genuinely enjoys talking to people and persuading them.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identify and prospect potential clients through referrals, social media, field visits, and personal networks.
- Contact prospects by phone, WhatsApp, and in person to introduce SIA's products and schedule meetings.
- Attend client meetings alongside senior team members and, progressively, lead meetings independently.
- Prepare and deliver simple, clear product presentations tailored to the client's needs.
- Follow up consistently on quotations, proposals, and pending conversions.
- Maintain an up-to-date prospect tracker and submit a weekly pipeline report to the supervisor.
- Assist with onboarding of new clients collecting documents, completing proposal forms, and coordinating policy issuance.
- Support the team at client events, exhibitions, and corporate visits.
- Gather market intelligence - competitor products, client feedback, emerging needs and share with the team.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Diploma or above in any field - Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, Communication, or any other discipline.
- No prior work experience required; attachment or voluntary experience is an advantage.
