Strathmore University are hiring an Administrator, Maintenance and Transport in Nairobi to support the effective management of facilities and transport operations through accurate data management, asset tracking, reporting, and administrative coordination, while ensuring compliance, efficiency, and sustainability-focused decision-making.

Reporting to: Manager, Administration Services
Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage institutional keys, including key automation, audits, allocation monitoring, and clearance processes.
- Develop, update, and maintain an online asset database for furniture and fittings in offices and lecture rooms.
- Collect, clean, analyse, and interpret data related to transport systems, energy consumption, water usage, and fuel to support sustainability and operational reporting.
- Follow up on insurance claims and liaise with relevant government bodies to ensure compliance and timely resolution.
- Provide administrative support to transport operations, including Little Cab additions and CRS system management.
- Assist with uploading and processing transport and maintenance invoices.
- Support report writing, documentation, and preparation of operational and management reports.
- Maintain accurate data filing, recording, and data management systems.
- Occupational Health and Safety compliance and follow-up on key recommendations.
- Event management and organisation in liaison with the events protocol office.
- Assist in policy and processes reviews
- Perform any other duties assigned in support of facilities and operations.
Minimum Academic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, Data Management, or a related field.
Experience
At least two years of work experience in administrative roles.
