ABOUT THE ROLE
Kenchic PLCย is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Quality Controller-Intern to join our Quality Assurance Department. This role is responsible for quality conformance checks and inspection of ingredients, raw materials, packaging materials, in-process and finished products. The role ensures that all products meet established food safety and quality requirements while driving a culture of continuous improvement.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Implement and monitor quality and food safety requirements across receiving, production, storage, and dispatch.
- Conduct real-time quality checks, sampling, laboratory testing, and sensory evaluations.
- Ensure accurate documentation, traceability, and timely reporting of product quality and process deviations.
- Investigate product nonconformities, customer complaints, and support root cause analysis with timely corrective actions.
- Participate in new product development, including testing, reporting, and specification development.
- Conduct internal audits, monitor GMP and hygiene compliance, and ensure sanitation schedules are met.
- Manage QA programs, records, and compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Provide quality and food safety training to staff to support a sustainable quality culture.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Diploma in Food Science/Technology, Chemistry, Biology, or related discipline (bachelorโs degree is an advantage)
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills,
- Attention to detail, and a team player.
