Reservations Intern

Bobu Africa, an Innovative Natural Travel and Lifestyle Brand is seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Reservations Intern to support its reservations and tour operations team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about tourism, hospitality, and travel management to gain hands-on experience in the safari and tourism industry.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Tourism, Hospitality, or a related field.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in reservations within a safari tour company or tour operations environment.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with booking systems.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.
• Customer-centric approach with strong interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of East African travel destinations will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in processing and confirming flight reservations, hotel bookings, and travel activities.
• Coordinate with hotels, airlines, and service providers to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Support the preparation of hotel vouchers, itineraries, quotations, invoices, and booking confirmations for the sales team.
• Assist in creating customized travel itineraries based on client requirements.
• Handle booking amendments, cancellations, special requests, and emergency support needs.
• Work closely with Sales, Operations, and Finance teams to ensure bookings comply with company procedures.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date digital and physical reservation records.
• Monitor service standards, collect customer feedback, and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
